The single for the "Oceans" video was released for download and streaming on January 22nd, and vocalist Collette McLafferty was profiled by a music journalist on her re-emergence into the music scene. Collette has been laying low, picking and choosing only a few select projects here and there, and I'm fortunate to have had her lend her vocals to 2 of my mermaid videos. The first was "Space Oasis," which has racked up over 20,000 views in the last few months. But "Oceans" was a bigger project - she went into a formal studio setting, and her producer Matt Mercado played guitar on and mastered this cover version of one of Pearl Jam's earliest writings.
